Welcome! My hometown is Arlington Heights, Illinois, although I grew up on the Palos Verdes Peninsula and graduated from Chadwick School in 1990. In 1994, I graduated from the University of the Pacific with my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Single Subject Credential in Math and Dance. I taught math and dance in Lodi, California, for five years and then decided to stay home and raise my two children. After moving back down to southern California, in 2009, I went back and earned my Masters of Education in Mathematics Education from Concordia University. I also returned to teaching by trying the online venue for two years before coming to Mira Costa High School in 2013. 2013 was a wonderful year to start teaching at Mira Costa for me because it was my daughter’s senior year on campus. I love the Mira Costa community. Throughout my many years of teaching, I have taught classes from basic math to Pre-Calculus. Here at Mira Costa, I have taught Geometry, Algebra 2, and Algebra 2 with Trigonometry.
