Daily agendas and assignments will be available to students in Google Classroom. It is student responsibility to check both Google Classroom and their email regularly for class updates, as well as to pay attention to information distributed and posted inside the classroom.
Students should keep a planner to keep track of their assignments (both short- and long-term) in order to become self-sufficient in their study habits.
Assignment scores will be updated in the Aeries gradebook regularly. I keep written grade and attendance records, and encourage students to keep track of both their returned work and items missed during absences.
Google Classroom allows students to share with one another in posts and other media. We expect behavior in person (in online live learning) and in written remarks to respect the standards of the MBUSD mission statement on equity and inclusion.
I spend a great deal of in-class time instructing students in the use of online learning tools. One-on-one assistance is offered and checking for understanding in the form of partner assignments and in-class conferencing offer students the chance to improve in the use of these tools. If your student has concerns about any aspect of class, please encourage him or her to visit me during office hours.
