MCHS Band Washington DC Send-Off Concert

This is a very special concert 2 years in the making. Our very own MCHS Bands program was invited to the President's Cup National Concert Band Invitational 2 years ago. This concert and trip were canceled in 2020 but we did not give up! The President's Cup asked us to come back and we accepted. We will be traveling to Washington DC from April 19th to April 23rd and participating in this festival and workshop (see more information below). 

This send-off concert has two purposes. One, to allow our families unable to travel to Washington DC to hear the amazing pieces of music our bands will be performing. Secondly, we will have adjudicators present at this concert who will be taking notes on our musicianship and then attend classes the following week to help the students fine-tune their sound prior to the festival. 

Also - this is the first time the MCHS Bands will be performing in our auditorium since 2020! We could not be more excited.
