STUDENT INFO
· Office Hours Days: If you are unable to check in for Office Hours TODAY, go to the administrative office for assistance.
· Staff and Students – Monday, Dec. 5 will be our final approval meeting for checks and reimbursements for the 2016 calendar year. If you have any items that need to be paid, bring original receipts with your completed and signed Check Request form to Mrs. Cessor in the Student Store before noon on Monday.
· If you signed up for Belize 2017, please come to an informational meeting in Room 220 on Thursday, Dec. 1 during lunch.
· Come see Mazzy MacGregor’s Art Show! It’s in the Gallery Room 60, and is open TODAY through next Wednesday. If you like street art, we hope you’ll enjoy this!
· Attention Mustangs: Pennekamp’s Annual Father-Daughter Dance needs help! We are in need of volunteers to help out at this very special tradition at PK. If you are interested in helping out this weekend, please contact Carrie Emhof ([email protected]) to sign up! Here are your options to help out… Friday, 12/2 from 2 – 5pm: set up and decoration at PK; Saturday, 12/3 from 4:30-9pm: stations of responsibility including dinner service, drinks, photo host(ess).
· Attention Club Presidents and Club Council Members! Every year, 10-20 clubs participate in Operation Happiness by either adopting a family or doing an angel tree. If you are interested, come see Mrs. Claypoole in Room 40 immediately.
· Boys’ Tennis Tryouts for all new players will be held Tuesday Dec. 6, Wednesday Dec. 7 and Thursday Dec. 8 from 3 – 5 pm at the Mira Costa tennis courts. Tryouts are mandatory, and players must attend all three days. If you have a conflict, please contact Coach Ciasulli directly at [email protected].

· Do you have a penchant for performing in front of a crowd? Then you should consider performing in Poetry Out Loud! By Friday, Dec. 22, please submit your application. See your English teacher or Ms. Sieker for more information.
SENIORS
· Seniors! It’s your last chance to submit your senior ads! The final deadline is this Thursday, Dec. 1. No ads will be accepted after this date. If you have any questions, email [email protected].
SPORTS
· Are you a good waiter? Then come and serve some balls in the Ping-Pong Tournament. Sign-ups TODAY in Room 40 at lunch! TODAY is the last day, so don’t let a net stop you from signing up –$5 per person.
FACULTY
· Operation Happiness 2016 2nd-period response letter is due on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 3 pm. Return form to Mrs. Claypoole in Room 40 or 41.

CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS
· Come to Room 1 during lunch tomorrow for Drama Club.
· This week on Thursday in Room 78 there will be a board meeting only for Pink Ribbon Club. Next week we will be making care packages, so all are welcome next week.
· Mental Health Awareness Club: Come to Room 21 Tuesdays to learn about mental health, how to de-stress and, more importantly, how to spread awareness about these struggles.
· Black Scholars Union meets every Thursday in Room 74 at lunch. We have several new initiatives for this year that we would love for you to be a part of. All new members are welcome!
