· Are you creative? How about courageous? Apply for the 2016 Clinton Family Social Inclusion Grant for up to $5,000. In order to qualify, your proposal must inspire productive and honest dialogues about race and other distinguishing characteristics that should be celebrated, not hated. The deadline has been extended to October 21, so don’t miss this excellent opportunity! Grant winners will be notified by mid-November. More information can be found at http://mbef.org/how/social-inclusion.grants/.
· It’s time for our California Scholarship Federation membership drive. If you are a Sophomore, Junior or Senior who had excellent grades in June, you may be eligible. The membership drive begins TODAY and ends on Oct. 7. Applications can be found in Room 243 beginning on Monday. If you don’t know what CSF is, then come to lab Room 243 in the science building at snack or lunch during the two-week membership drive to get more information. Sorry, freshmen will not be eligible until they have received their first semester high school grades.
