STUDENT INFO           

  • TEDX is coming to Costa TODAY!  Make sure to stop by during the second office hours in the small theatre to hear speakers talk on stress management.
  • Freshmen Football Players - The  Frosh Football Awards Banquet is Tuesday December 1st in the cafeteria. See Coach Currier or Contact Mrs. Vabrey by Friday Nov 20 to RSVP. Let's celebrate an excellent season.
  • If you forgot to turn in your app to Room 44 on November 13th, The Poetry Out Loud deadline is now extended until the end of the week
  • ASB Student Store officially opens this week!!  Open Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays at lunch.  Office hours it will be open during the AM Hour and Lunch.  Student Store is located across the quad from rooms 101 & 102.
  • If you traveled to Germany, Prague and Switzerland last year (2015), we are having a reunion lunch on 11/19 in Room 15.
  • Interested in going to London for Spring Break for 10 days? See Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Hampton Court, the bloody tower of London, Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. See major shows such as Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, the London Philharmonic at the Royal Albert Hall, possibly a Premier league football match and more! Trip limited to 10 students, so hurry!

CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS  

  • The next deadline for senior ads is this Friday, 11/20.  Turn in your completed senior ad form and money to room 49 or Ms. Park’s mailbox to save money.
  • Come to our Mustangs4change meeting this Friday in room 248 at lunch to learn how you can help refugees in Chad.
  • Come to BSU on Thursday Nov. 18 in Room 80.  There will be a meeting.
  • Art Club will be meeting on TODAY at Lunch in Room 62!  New members are welcome!
  • Come to the Creative Writing Club!  We meet every Thursday at lunch in Room 207.  See you there!
  • Come on down to room 1 at lunch on Wednesday for Drama Club!  We will be discussing important holiday events and performances!
  • Dive on in to the Drama room 1 during the second office hours for noontimetheater: People will be performing funny Thanksgiving scenes!
  • Come to Pink Ribbon Club every Thursday in Room 78, Ms. Guerrero!  We make care packages for cancer patients at the Torrance Memorial Hospital.
  • We’re going round 2 with Edgar Allan Poe this week at It’s Lit Club. Flock like ravens to Room 21 TODAY at lunch.
  • Don’t pout about being in a drought, come to the Water Conservation Club and learn how you can save water in our community! Meetings every Wednesday in Room 46!
  • Come to Investor’s Club every Tuesday in Room 225.
  • Please support BSU and go to Menchies any time from Nov. 6 to Nov. 23. Go get some frozen yogurt, but don’t forget to mention BSU.

COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER

  • SENIORS  - College application deadlines are approaching!  Come to the CCC for one on one help with a CCC Counselor – walk in or make an appointment.  Drop off your personal statements in the CCC to have a college counselor review it.  Be sure to include the prompt and your email address.
