STUDENT INFO           

 

·        Ping Pong Tournament has arrived!!! It starts Thursday, 11/5. Sign up at lunch on stage in the Mustang Mall Monday through Wednesday this week; entry is $5.

·        Ireland, Scotland & England Trip – Spring Break 2016: Mandatory meeting in Room 410 at lunch on Weds., Nov. 4. New sign-ups are welcome – a couple spots still remain. Come by or email [email protected] for details.

SENIORS      

Seniors! Important meeting about Caps & Gowns this Wednesday at 10 am in the Auditorium. Be there!

SPORTS        

·        Boys’ Volleyball tryouts will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 3 starting at 5 pm in Fisher Gym!!

CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS  

·        Get spooky with us and Edgar Allan Poe at It’s Lit! Club this Wednesday in Room 21 at lunch. There will be goodies.

·        Come to Free the Children Club every Thursday in Room 242. Our goal is to raise enough money to provide water for villages in underdeveloped countries.

·        Come every Thursday to Room 78 for Pink Ribbon Club! We make care packages for cancer patients at the Torrance Memorial Hospital! New members welcome!

·        If you are interested in learning or pursuing code, come to Girls Who Code Club TODAY from 3-4 pm in room 116!

·        The Manhattan Beach Police Department is currently accepting applications for the upcoming Community Police Academy (CPA). If you are interested, please attend the information session in the CCC on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 12:20 pm.

·        SoCalRoc is now enrolling – Nine-week courses starting Nov. 9. Natalie Hansen, SoCalRoc counselor, will be in the CCC on Mondays 9:00 am – 10:20 am. Sign up in the CCC or just      drop in.

·        Test Prep Information

New SAT & ACT Combination Practice Exam – at Manhattan Beach Library, 1320 Highland Ave., Manhattan Beach.  Saturday, Nov. 7, 11:00 am – 2:45 pm.  Become acquainted with the new SAT and check out the ACT exam as well with this comprehensive combination practice test. Space is limited, sign-up at the MB Library Information Desk. Score reveal and strategies session: Monday, Nov. 16 at 6:30 pm.
