- Last day to turn in CSF paperwork is TODAY, Oct. 2. Come to Room 243 for applications and information.

CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS
- The Geeks Club meets in the Library during lunch TODAY. New members and guests are welcome. Come see our 3D printer in action and get help with tech.
- ATTENTION ROC NATION OFFICERS! Meet TODAY at lunch in Mr. Knutson’s Room 201 for a MANDATORY club officer pre-meeting planning.
- Do you like to dance? Have you ever wanted to teach kids? Then come to Unity Dance Club in Ms. Choi’s Room 223 TODAY where you’ll have the opportunity to teach deserving elementary school students how to dance! All grades welcome!
- Come stop by the art gallery (Room 60) at lunch starting TODAY and through next week for a show featuring work produced by Mira Costa’s Visual Arts faculty; there is a variety of photography, painting, sculpture, fiber art and more. Hope to see you there.
- If you are interested in a challenging national marine science competition, we have the club for you! Come to National Ocean Sciences Bowl Club every Thursday at lunch in Mr. Smith’s Room 342 in the Math and Science Building.

- Want to earn service hours by helping older adults learn to use technology? Come to the Young at Heart TODAY in Room 331.

- University of Washington Regional Event to be held at the Mira Costa Auditorium on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 6:30 pm – 8:30pm. This is a special event for prospective Huskies and their families. - SoCalRoc Classes – Natalie Hansen, SoCalRoc counselor, will be in the CCC on Mondays (TODAY) 9 am – 10:20am. Sign up in the CCC or just drop in.
- Free Testing
C2 Test Prep is offering free New PSAT, New SAT, SAT or ACT practice exams on Oct. 10 at UCLA Haines Hall – check in starts at 8:30 am, testing starts at 10:00 am. Highest scores win $1,000 toward college. Parents are invited to attend workshops while students are testing. This event is free; you will have to pay for parking. Space is limited.

- For Juniors taking the PSAT in October, Kaplan Test Prep will be hosting free online PSAT Cram Sessions to help students prepare for the upcoming New PSAT.
