STUDENT INFO           

  • From the library: Do you have a gently used copy of one of the summer reading assignment books you would like to donate to the library? The library would appreciate having more copies to lend to students. Please bring donations to the library. Thank you!
  • Spain 2017 info meeting! Come by Room 70 on Tuesday at lunch to learn more about our Spain 2017 Spring Break Trip. Gracias! Señora Shapiro
  • England, Ireland, Scotland trip meeting – Tues., Sept. 22 at lunch in Room 410. New sign-ups welcome. We have a few spots left!! Email [email protected] for details.
  • Attention students and staff! Make-up picture day is Monday, Sept. 21 in the Auditorium. This will be the time for new students or those who did not get an ID at registration to get one. This will also be a time for teachers and staff to get their IDs too. Lifetouch will be here from 7:30 am – 2:00 pm.
  • Come by the Art Gallery in Room 60 and try a loaf of Breadth. Feed your eye-balls rad art for lunch. Open all week, every day at lunch, and during back-to-school night.

CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS  

  • Want to help with some FUN-draisers? Come to Camps for Kids Club Tuesdays in Room 47. There will be cookies!
  • Saving lives, preparing communities for disasters, and helping families in need is what we do. Come to Red Cross Club in Room 352B at lunch on Fridays, TODAY.
  • Lend a Hand Club’s meeting today is canceled due to the minimum day schedule. Club will resume normally next Friday 9/25.
  • Emergency Fashion Club meeting in Room 131 at lunch TODAY! Anyone interested in modeling? Come to the Fashion Club meeting TODAY as well.
  • Attention all freshmen interested in running for freshman class officers, please come to an information meeting in Room 40 at lunch TODAY, 9/18.
  • Sick of planet Earth? Come to Astronomy Club every Thursday in Room 248. Everyone is welcome.

COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER

  • **IMPORTANT: IF YOU REGISTERED FOR THE PSAT ON TUESDAY, SEPT. 15, PLEASE CHECK THAT YOUR NAME IS ON THE LIST POSTED IN THE STUDENT STORE WINDOW. If you are not listed, please notify Donna Cessor in the ASB Accounting Office next to the Student Store.
  • PSAT REGISTRATION (Testing 10th and 11th Grades only) will be available at the Student Store on Sept. 15 – 17 during LUNCH ONLY; Sept. 18, TODAY, during SNACK ONLY. Cost: $25; please make checks out to MCHS.

Late Registration will be available at the Student Store on Sept. 21 – 22 during LUNCH ONLY. Cost $35. The test date is Oct. 28.

  • University of Washington Regional Event to be held at the Mira Costa Auditorium on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 6:30 pm – 8:30pm. This is a special event for prospective Huskies and their families.
