- Reflections, a literary magazine/compilation of student work, is being sold in Room 18 for $2 each!
- Have you been wondering what 3D printers do and how they work? Come by the Library during lunch TODAY to watch a demo of our new 3D printer in action. The Geeks Club is also recruiting new members for the fall to help students and staff with tech and run our new makerspace.
- Attention: Students & Staff – Friday, June 12, is the last day to turn in reimbursement or check requests for any club or ASB funds. Please make sure to include itemized original receipts and advisor signatures on all requests. Submit your requests to ASB Accountant Donna Cessor in the student store or to the front office for her mailbox.
- The final Comedy Sportz match of the school year is the alumni match Friday, June 12, at 7 pm in the Auditorium, cost $5. Seniors vs. Alumni.
- Are you interested in singing with the award-winning Mira Costa Choirs? If so, please see Mr. Hayden in Room 2! Join the Mira Costa Choirs.
- Come to the Auditorium TONIGHT, Thursday, June 11 at 7 pm to see the Costa Orchestra’s Pop Concert! Tickets are free for students and $10 for adults. Enjoy music from Jurassic Park and Phantom of the Opera!
- As the end of the year approaches, please remember that all library books and textbooks are due by June 18 and should be returned promptly as soon as you are done using them. It is extremely important that we get books back on time so that we can accurately determine whether we have adequate numbers for future students. Thank you very much for your support.
- While our physical library is closed during the summer, students can check out and read ebooks all year. Ask at the library for help accessing ebooks.
CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS
· ROC NATION: Music & performing arts will be having their club officers’ election for the 2015-2016 school year this Friday, June 12, at lunch in Room 201 (Mr. Knutson’s). ALL who are running must attend this meeting. FREE PIZZA!!!
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
El Camino College bound students – There will be an ECC Counselor available in the CCC to help you with your Ed Plan and Class Registration on Thursdays (TODAY) from 12:20 – 2:00 pm. Please sign up for your appointment in the CCC.
