- FRIDAY is the last day to turn in your entry for the Student Planner cover contest!
- AP Students: Rosters for the 2015 AP Exams have now been posted on the front windows of the Administration Building showing room assignments and times. Please check the rosters ASAP. If you’re registered and do not see your name, please see Ms. Norris in the office immediately.
- Come to the First Annual Yearbook Photography Show in Room 60! Opens TODAY, April 27 at lunch. We’ll have forms to purchase your 2015 book, chances to win photographs and to get a glimpse into the book!!!
- If you are interested in traveling to Austria, Germany and Switzerland in 2016, stop by Room 15 for info and have your parents come to a meeting TODAY at 6:30 pm.

- Want to learn more about the cultures we have here at Costa? Come to Room 52 every Monday (TODAY) at lunch.
- Current Sophomores & Juniors: Applications for National Honor Society membership for the 2015 – 2016 school year are now open! See Mrs. Cabrera in Room 53 or the NHS page on the school website for an application.
- Come to Pink Ribbon Club this Thursday in Room 78! We will be making care packages for breast cancer patients very soon. All new members welcome!
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
CCC Bulletin for 4/27/15
Out of State College Mini Fair – May 12th 6:30 – 8:30pm in the MCHS Cafeteria. Come meet with admission representatives from 15-30 out- of- state colleges! Please RSVP on Naviance.
College visits in the CCC - United States Naval Academy, May 6th during lunch. Please sign-up on Naviance.
SoCalRoc – Meet with the SoCal Roc Representative in the CCC on Mondays from 10:00am – 11:30am. Sign-up in the CCC for an appointment or drop in during snack on Mondays.
El Camino College bound students - There will be an ECC Counselor available in the CCC to help you with your Ed Plan and Class Registration on Thursdays from 12:20 – 2:00pm. Please sign-up for your counseling appointment in the CCC. There will also be an ECC Registration Workshop in the CCC on Thursday, April 30th 12:00pm – 1:00pm – please sign up on Naviance.
AIAA Scholarship for students interested in the STEM fields. Application is available on the MCHS website, College tab – Scholarship Opportunities page. Submission deadline is May 7th.
Seniors
-Senior Clearance Deadline is May 15th. Please bring copies the following to the CCC: 1. Updated Naviance college admissions results. 2. Completed senior survey. 3. Acceptance letter from the school you will be attending.
-College Map Event- Show us where you will be attending school in the fall. Come to the CCC table on April 30th Club Day during lunch.
-County of Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Information Session - The Sheriff’s Department is recruiting for the position of Public Response Dispatcher. A representative will be in the CCC on Friday, May 8th at 1:00pm to cover hiring requirements, salary, and benefits. Please sign-up on Naviance.
