- Improve your SAT scores! Sign up for SAT Savvy Prep Session for the June 6th test. 18 hours of instruction plus four practice tests. And…it is here at MCHS with actual teachers. For more info – satsavvy.info or Room 18, 331 or CCC.
- Sadies Attendees: Parking at Portofino will be $10 per car! So parking on the Redondo Pier or anywhere around the location will be easier and free!
- Italy 2016! All those who are interested in traveling to Venice, Florence and Rome next year during Spring Break, please come to an informational meeting TODAY during lunch in Ms. Choi’s Room 223.
- Attention students: If you are interested in participating in ASB Student Government next year, you must come to one of the following meetings: T 3/31; Th 4/2; M 4/13; W 4/15.
CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS
- The Geeks meet in the library workroom during lunch TODAY. New members are welcome. Also, come by if you need help with tech.

- Pink Ribbon Club meeting TODAY at lunch in Room 78.
- Gay-Straight Alliance meets Thursdays (TODAY) in Mr. Zeoli’s Room 23. Everyone is welcome!
- BSU will meet TODAY in Room 48 at lunch.
SENIORS
- Applications to speak at graduation are now available. Pick one up in Room 15 or the office. Applications are due by 3/27/15.
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
- College visits in the CCC - DePaul University, March 30 at 12:20 pm., Washington State University, April 1 at 12:20 pm., Northeastern University, April 13 at 11:25 am, UC Riverside, April 15 at 10:23 am. Sign up on Naviance.
- El Camino bound students - There will be an ECC Counselor available in the CCC to help you with your Ed Plan and Class Registration on Thursdays from 12:20 – 2:00 pm. Sign-up for your appointment in the CCC now.
- Testing Information
- Free New SAT (class of 2017), will be offered by The Princeton Review at Mira Costa High School on April 18th from 9am – 1:30pm. Register online PrincetonReview.com/Events or call 800-273-8439. Event ID #233313
- Practice ACT at Mira Costa on May 9th. Register in the CCC during lunchtime this week. Registration is $10 during the week of March 23rd. Late registration is $15 during the week of March 30th. Cash only! We will not be accepting checks. There are limited spots so first come, first serve!
· Summer Program Update
El Camino is offering a free STEM and robotics program this summer. The STEM Training and Robotics Technology (START) program includes a robot building experience and covers STEM career pathways. No prior technical experience required to apply. The program runs July 6 to July 30, Monday through Friday (Friday field trips), 9 am to 1 pm. The application deadline is May 25.
