  • Come to Room 60 all this week to see a display of artwork organized by the Art Club.

  • The Winter Formal is this Saturday, 2/28. It will be held at Los Verdes Country Club at 7 pm.

CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS

  • Gay-Straight Alliance meets Thursdays in Mr. Zeoli’s Room 23. Everyone is welcome!
  • Make sure to come to Room 1 TODAY at lunch to stay up to date with all of Drama’s recent events!
  • Richstone meets Wednesday (TODAY) in Room 18. Stop by for important announcements.
  • Cuipo Club is every Wednesday (TODAY) in Room 18. Did you know that “Cuipo” is named after an endangered tree in Central & South America that reputably has the softest wood in the world?
  • Interested in modeling for this year’s fashion show? Don’t miss your last opportunity to audition Wednesday and Thursday this week at lunch in Room 131. Just bring yourself!
  • Are you interested in becoming a lawyer or judge, or are you merely fascinated by legal systems and debate? Come to Debate Club TODAY in Room 203 to begin participating in our first mock trial.

SENIORS

  • Attention Seniors: Many of you neglected to apply for CSF this semester. You cannot become a Life Member or Sealbearer without applying for CSF using senior grades. That means you should have applied before the break. I will, however, give you this week to come see me, Ms. Cunningham, in Room 349 about applying. If you didn’t have the grades then you will need to see me in May to look at second semester grades.

    El Camino bound students – After you take your assessment tests, your next step towards priority registration is to meet with an ECC Counselor. There will be an ECC Counselor available in the CCC to meet with you on Thursdays from 12:20 – 2:00 pm. Sign up for your appointment in the CCC now.
  • Free Practice Testing – SAT Savvy is offering a free practice test for the current SAT on Saturday 2/28 at 8 am to 1 pm at MCHS in Room 18. Please sign up with Ms. Vaughan in Room 18.
  • Seniors – If you are participating in the Scholarship notebook Program, please view available scholarships and specific instructions/deadlines on the MCHS website – College Tab – Scholarship notebook Information. Please sign up for specific scholarships in the CCC on Feb. 23 – 26 and March 2 – 6. If supplemental materials are required for the scholarships you choose, forms are available online or in the CCC – Please note deadlines.
  • SoCalRoc is now accepting applications for Spring Classes – Law, Banking, Electrical, Welding, and Adobe classes start March 30th. For more information please visit the CCC.
