STUDENT INFO           

  • It’s time for the 37th Annual Neptunian Women’s Club Art and Photo Contest! Entry forms are available in the Admin Office as well as from Art and Photo teachers and Mr. McAvin and Mr. Hernandez. Deadline to turn in entries to Ms. Gardner in the Admin Office is Monday, Feb. 23, 2015.
  • Come to the auditorium at 7 pm on Friday, Dec. 12 to see your very own orchestras perform their annual Winter Concert. Tickets are available at the door or free for students and $10 for adults.
  • Come to the fourth Annual Drama Holiday Benefit Performance tomorrow on Thursday, Dec. 11 at 7 pm in Room 1. $5 donation goes to our adopt-a-family.
  • Last day to sign up for the Eastern Europe 2015 trip is Dec. 15.

  • The After School Jazz Program is gearing up for another great season. If you play guitar, piano, bass, drum set, trumpet, saxophone or trombone and want to play some great jazz, come to the Small Gym TODAY, Wednesday, Dec. 10 at lunch for a brief informational meeting.
  • Join the Hour of Code!! Any day this week, you can take part in this worldwide event during lunch, at the Library or the computer labs in the History and Math and Science buildings. Get some experience in today’s programming-heavy society. Everyone who attends will be entered in a drawing for a $25 amazon gift card. No coding experience needed!!

SPORTS

  • LipSync is back!! Join us Jan. 7 at 7 pm for LipSync 2015. Tickets are on sale NOW! $4 in advance, $5 at the door.

CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS  

  • Come to CACPCARE Club TODAY in Ms. Cabrera’s Room 53 at lunch to support cerebral palsy!
  • NHS meeting Friday at lunch in the Gym. $20 dues and community service slips are due at the meeting. Contact Ms. Cabrera for more information.
  • Cuipo Club and Richstone club meet every Wednesday (TODAY) in room 18.
  • Come to Pink Ribbon Club every Thursday in Room 78 at lunch. We make care packages for cancer patients, fundraise, and so much more. There are leadership positions for new members too! See you there!

COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER

·        El Camino College Application Workshop, featuring priority registration and special programs, will be held Monday, Dec. 15, in Room 241 during periods 1 – 3. Sign up on Naviance.

·        Holiday Special!  FREE SAT, ACT, and NEWSAT practice tests. Test dates: Saturday, 122/20 and Saturday 12/27, 9:30 am – 1:30 pm. Registration & info: Email: [email protected].

·        The US Marines will be here tomorrow, Thursday, Dec.11 during lunch with information about officer programs, scholarships, and leadership opportunities.
