STUDENT INFO           

  • November 15 was International Games Day. The library is celebrating all of this week with a great selection of new board games, along with our amazing new chess table. Come to the library and play one or more games, and you can submit an entry in our Games Day drawing for a cool gift certificate.
  • There are still a few spots available for the digital storytelling trip to Cuba during Ski Week. Come to an info meeting Thursday, TODAY, at 6:00 pm in Rm 108 or see Mr. Hernandez for more info.
  • This week is the last week detention will be held in Room 74. Starting Monday, Dec. 1, all detentions will be served in Room 80.
  • Interested in visiting Switzerland? If so, see Ms. Owen in Room 15 for more info.
  • Frosh Football Awards Dinner is Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 5:30 pm in the Cafeteria. Contact Mrs. Lowersky or Coach Currier.

 

SPORTS

  • Boys Tennis Tryouts for all new players will be held Tuesday, Dec. 2; Thursday, Dec. 4; and Friday, Dec. 5 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the Mira Costa tennis courts. Players must attend all three days. If you have a conflict, please contact Coach Ciasulli directly at [email protected].
  • Boys Tennis Tryouts for all returning players will be held Thursday, Dec.4 and Friday, Dec. 5 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the Mira Costa tennis courts. Tryouts are mandatory and players must attend both days. If you have a conflict, please contact Coach Ciasulli directly at [email protected].

 

SENIORS

  • Seniors – Please see your counselor immediately if you have not submitted your request for transcripts, secondary school reports, and/or letters of recommendation for colleges. These are past due and require immediate attention. Thank you.

 

CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS  

  • The Geeks meet during lunch TODAY, Thursday 11/20, in the library lunch room.
  • Come to FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletics) TODAY, Room 102, if you want to have a good time!
  • Help better the world with one well at a time. Come to the Tribe Club in room 204 TODAY at lunch. There are internships and community service options available. New members are welcomed.
  • Finding Nemo was pretty cool, but finding homes for the homeless is even better. Project Origin, Room 22, every Wednesday at lunch.
  • Submit your short stories, poems, artwork, and photography to [email protected] to have them featured in the literary magazine at the end of the year.
  • If you applied for California Scholarship Federation during our fall membership drive, your application has been accepted and you are now a CSF member. Your CSF card will come to your 2nd period class sometime after the Thanksgiving break. Congratulations and thanks for your patience.
