  • November 15 was International Games Day. The library is celebrating all of this week with a great selection of new board games, along with our amazing new chess table. Come to the library and play one or more games, and you can submit an entry in our Games Day drawing for a cool gift certificate.
  • Japan 2016 meeting on Wednesday at lunch in room 72. Domo arigato!
  • Interested in visiting Switzerland? If so, see Ms. Owen in Room 15 for more info.
  • Come to Room 60 TODAY at lunch for an astonishing gallery of photos.
  • Lip Sync 2014 is right around the corner! Lip sync is next Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 7 pm. Buy your tickets from ASB today: $4 in advance; $5 at the door.

SPORTS

  • Boys Tennis Tryouts for all new players will be held Tuesday, Dec. 2; Thursday, Dec. 4; and Friday, Dec. 5 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the Mira Costa tennis courts. Players must attend all three days. If you have a conflict, please contact Coach Ciasulli directly at [email protected].
  • Boys Tennis Tryouts for all returning players will be held Thursday, Dec.4 and Friday, Dec. 5 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the Mira Costa tennis courts. Tryouts are mandatory and players must attend both days. If you have a conflict, please contact Coach Ciasulli directly at [email protected].

CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS  

  • If you applied for California Scholarship Federation during our fall membership drive, your application has been accepted and you are now a CSF member. Your CSF card will come to your 2nd period class sometime after the Thanksgiving break. Congratulations and thanks for your patience.
  • Attention all club presidents: Club Council meeting is Tuesday at lunch in Room 40.
  • Please come to Pink Ribbon Club every Wednesday in Room 78. We make care packages for great cancer patients, fundraise, and so much more.
  • S-Club meeting will be held today in Room 16 during lunch. Be sure to attend for important updates!
  • Come to Shakespeare Club every Friday in Room 18. New members welcome!
  • Did you know? Badminton is the fastest sport in the world. The fastest badminton smash was recorded at 332 km/h (206 mph). Join the Badminton Club every Monday @ lunch in Rm. 234.
