- Student Print Job Request:
Print Job Requests: If you are requesting a print job, please email document in PDF format and send file as an attachment to [email protected]. Please put your name in the subject line. You may pick up your printed job in Room 42 before school, at snack, or lunch only and not during class times. Printing is 10 cents per side. The only print jobs that will be accepted will be those that are received via email.
- UCLA has notified us that they will NOT be conducting a fall blood drive this year. However, there will be a drive in the spring. More information regarding the spring drive will be posted in the second semester.
- Tickets for Thornton Wilder’s “The Matchmaker” performed by the Mira Costa Drama Department will be on sale this week in the quad at lunch, so bring money! Performance dates are as follows: Nov. 7, 8, 14 & 15 at 7:30 pm; Nov. 12 at 4 pm and Nov. 15 at 2 pm. Pre-sale tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors, with a $5 price for students on the 12th. See you there!
SENIORS
- Seniors: It’s time to Do the Honors!! Jostens will be taking cap, gown, graduation announcement and senior ring orders Wed., Nov. 12, 7 am – 2 pm outside the Career Center (CCC), also Wed. evening, Nov. 12, 6:30 pm – 8 pm, CCC.
SPORTS
- Girls Lacrosse tryouts, Thursday, Nov. 13 from 6 to 8 pm and Friday, Nov. 14 from 3 to 5 pm at the stadium. Bring cleats, running shoes, stick, goggles, and you MUST have a mouth guard.
- Boys’ Basketball tryouts will be Nov. 12 from 7 – 9 at Mira Costa. If you are a senior interested in trying out, please contact Coach Amaral directly at [email protected].
- Last chance to try out for Boys Soccer. If you are interested, you must meet Coach Smith in his classroom at 3:00 TODAY, Friday, Nov. 7 to discuss the situation. Try outs will be the following week.

- UC Application and Statement Workshop – hosted by a UC representative will be held on Wed., Nov. 12 at 2:10 pm in the CCC.
- Walk-in Wednesdays continue through Nov. 19. College application support is available every Wednesday in Room 241 during lunchtime.
