STUDENT INFO           

  • Bring your money on Thursday, October 23 for Club Day at lunch in the new quad.
  • If you are going on the Eastern Europe trip, come to room 15 at lunch on Friday for a meeting.
  • The annual Lip-Sync is around the corner! Sign up today and who knows, you could win first place along with some money! Sign-ups will be in the new quad starting Oct. 21.
  • Get ready for Halloween: Come see the library scary books and contribute a sentence to one of our scary stories. Everyone who contributes will have a chance to win a coffee gift certificate.
  • Advanced notice: The library will be closed all day on Friday for hearing tests. Please plan ahead and get any books you need before Friday.

FACULTY

  • Please excuse the Varsity Girls Tennis team at 1:20 pm TODAY for an away match at Harvard-Westlake. Sorry for any inconvenience.

CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS  

  • There will no longer be a Halloween festival! Join us for Key Club meetings in room 70 Thursdays at lunch.
  • Game Club meets Fridays after school in Rm. 40. We’ll be continuing our Halloween-themed D & D game.
  • New members of NHS: There will be a mandatory induction rehearsal at 3 pm on Wednesday in the cafeteria. Induction is Thursday at 7 a.m.
  • Science Olympiad meets today in room 350 at lunch.
  • Do you care about the environment? Do you like science and want to make a difference? Come to Environmental Science Club this Friday at lunch, Mr. Smith’s Room.
  • Feeling Spooky? Come to the Art Club Wednesdays at lunch in room 62 this month for chilling creativity – and elections!
  • Come to ROC Nation in Mr. Knutson’s room 201 on Wednesdays and Fridays at lunch! Jam with new friends, perform in benefit concerts, and take your music to a new level!
  • Knock Knock. Who’s there? Why, it’s you! Knockin’ on the door of room 1 every Tuesday at lunch for Improv club! I promise we’ll tell better jokes…
  • Come to Friendship Circle in Room 114 on Tuesdays and Thursdays and don’t forget to sign up for the Skechers Pier to Pier Walk in Manhattan Beach next Sunday!

  • College Application Support “Walk-In Wednesdays” begin Oct. 22 in Room 241 during lunch. No sign-up is necessary; just come in during lunch any Wednesday through Nov. 13.
