STUDENT INFO
- The annual Lip-Sync is around the corner! Sign up today and who knows, you could win first place along with some money! Sign-ups will be in the new quad starting Tuesday, Oct. 21.
- Get ready for Halloween: Come see the library scary books and contribute a sentence to one of our scary stories. Everyone who contributes will have a chance to win a coffee gift certificate.
- Advanced notice: The library will be closed all day on Friday for hearing tests. Please plan ahead and get any books you need before Friday.
- The next In-N-Out Honor Roll Recognition Event will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014 and all eligible students must bring their current Mira Costa I.D.s to the school auditorium to participate. This event is for students who earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher at Mira Costa last semester. The In-N-Out burgers will be served during the regular lunch period, and grilled cheese sandwiches will also be available. In addition, a complimentary lunch will be served to all teachers and staff members, beginning at 12:00 noon.
CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS
- Come to Friendship Circle in Room 42 on Tuesdays and Thursdays and don’t forget to sign up for the Skechers Pier to Pier Walk in Manhattan Beach next Sunday!
- No meeting today for S Club. Be sure to be there next week for important updates!
- Come one, come all! Gay-Straight Alliance (and everyone in between!) will be meeting in Mr. Zeoli’s room, Rm. 23. Everyone is welcome!
- Cupo Club and Richstone Club every Wednesday Room 18. Stop by for lots of community service.
- Kleats 4 Kids club Fridays in Room 77.
- Twerk your way down to Dance Club in Room 79 this Tuesday at lunch! Everybody’s welcome to join. Even people who dance like Taylor Swift! (Like, serious, anyone can come.)
- Did you know? Badminton is the fastest sport in the world. The fastest badminton smash was recorded at 332 km/h (206 mph). Join the Badminton Club every Monday @ lunch in Rm. 234.
