• Come to the library to see the displays of Freshmen Library Orientation slides. Ms. Rossell’s students’ blogs, Ms. Mireles’ Art 1 Geometric Abstraction projects, and scary books to get you ready for Halloween.
• Parent Info night for Spain/Portugal 2016 is on Tuesday, October 14, at 7 pm in room 70. Please tell your parents to attend for more info!
• As much as John Jackson loves each & every one of you, MBMS asks that costa students do NOT visit their campus Wednesday morning (during double late start).
• Reminder! Please pick up your pre-ordered spirit wear next week during lunch period at The Student Store.
SPORTS
• Girls Lacrosse tryouts this Friday from 3:00-5:00 pm. Meet at the stadium. Bring lacrosse stick, cleats, running shoes, goggles and you MUST have a mouth-guard. No experience necessary. Email Coach Cross if you can’t make it: [email protected].
• Please excuse the Girls Varsity Tennis Team at 1:20 TODAY for an away match at Palos Verdes. Sorry for any inconvenience.

• Young Philosophers! Join us again in room 53 at lunch Wednesday 10/15 to continue our discussion on personhood and identity – bring your surveys!
• Want to earn community service hours & help people in need? Then come to the American Red Cross Club on Wednesdays in Room 352 at lunch. See you there!
• The Library Club meets in the library workroom during lunch today. Everyone is welcome.
• Come to Drama Club Rm. 1 every Wednesday! We have air conditioning!

• Science Olympiad Club meets this Wednesday at lunch in Room 350.
