Students in violation will be pulled from class to move their car. • Starting TODAY, Sept. 8th, any students who have an “excused 1st, 5th or 6th period” or surf team on their schedule need to come to the Guidance Office to get an “Off-Grounds sticker” placed on their student ID card. Off-Grounds stickers will be issued before school, at snack, at lunch, or after school only. Please do not come during class time. If you are stopped by the police without the Off-Grounds sticker on your ID card, you may be subject to a truancy citation. • South Africa Trip – Spring Break 2015. All old club presidents and anyone who wanting to start a new club need to be present. • Attention all freshmen interested in running for ASB need to pick up an election packet from Mrs. Claypoole and turn it in by Thursday, September 11th by 3pm. • Italy 2015! Interested in visiting the Roman Coliseum, riding the gondolas, or eating some gelato? If so, come to the Italy Spring Break 2015 informational meeting on Wednesday, September 10 in Ms. Choi’s Rm. 223 at lunch. • Come to Mira Costa Interact Club every Tuesday for pizza, community service and scholarship opportunities. • Looking to help out in your community and earn service hours? Join Key Club, meetings every Thursday. Rm. 70. • The most humanely rewarding club is beginning next Tuesday, September 9th in Rm. 114 (the bottom floor of the two story social science & art brick building). Bring something to eat every Tuesday and Thursday and enjoy a lunch with our fantastic special needs students. Just by joining you can save a square kilometer of rainforest! • Get your mind off of Homework and Aps for a while and come to Game Club! We meet every Friday after school in Rm. 41.
