• Attention Students: Donate your used formal dresses to an “Operation Prom” box located in the office and in Rms. 40/41!!

• Thank you to EVERYONE who submitted designs for the Student Planner cover contest! So much creativity at Costa! Congratulations to the three artists whose designs were selected by their fellow students and teachers: Sidney Sartini, Banji Oyewole and Brooke Taylor. Please come to Ms. Hoffman’s office at snack or lunch to collect your prize.
• Attention students interested in taking or are already enrolled for next year’s AP ART HISTORY course: Please come to a lunch meeting on Friday, May 30 in Ms. Park’s Rm. 48, to discuss textbooks, summer prep work, and what you can do to get a head start on next year. It is very important that you attend.

• JV Boys’ Basketball tryouts for current freshmen and sophomores are next week May 27th and May 29th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Mira Costa. If you are going to be a senior and would like to tryout for the varsity team please contact Coach Jeff Amaral directly.
• The Mira Costa Varsity Ice Hockey team is seeking players for its Fall/Winter team planning to compete in the Anaheim Ducks Varsity High School Hockey League beginning in Sept. Hockey players at all levels are encouraged to tryout. A practice/clinic will be held on Sat. May 31 at 3:40. Followed by a tryout on Mon. June 9 at 7:20 pm. The practice and trout will both be held at Lakewood Ice, 3975 Pixie Ave., Lakewood
