AP classes are not guaranteed college credit. This gives Honors status and same weight on your GPA as an AP class. Do students have to enroll in the UCLA class? No, but if you want to get credit on a transcript from UCLA they will have to enroll. The transcript can give credit to another school even if you do not go to UCLA.
