STUDENT INFO
• There is a mandatory Scholar Quiz orientation on Thursday, May 8th at lunch in the auditorium. Please send ONE player from each team; it does not have to be the team captain. We will cover this year’s format for Day 1 and Day 2, answer general questions, and hand out 2014 Scholar Quiz T-shirts. See you there! The Scholar Quiz Committee.
• 2015 Belize Spring Break Trip info meeting TODAY in Mr. Chow’s Rm. 47 at lunch.
• 2015 MCHS Belize Spring Break Trip Parent Meeting is Thursday, May 8th at 5pm in Rm. 47. Looking forward to meeting your parents.
• Seniors please continue to send in your photos for the senior slideshow to the email [email protected]. Deadline is Friday, May 9th!
• This is advance notice that unfortunately the library will be open for independent visits only on a very limited basis during AP testing. The library will be closed from Monday, May 5 through Wednesday May 14, with these exceptions;
Monday, May 5, open during lunch and Period 5 Thursday, May 8, open during lunch and in the afternoon
Monday, May 12 7:30 am – 12 Noon Tuesday, May 13, open during lunch and in the afternoon
During these opening times, students can request books from the librarian or volunteers and can use the computers. The rest of the library will be unavailable. The after school program will be held in the CCC.
CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS
• Calling all fashion fanatics! Right now we are organizing a fashion gallery for May 30th and are looking for fashion related pieces in all Medias. If at all interested, talk to Ms. Martin in Rm. 62. Submit work by May 23rd.
SENIORS
• Those seniors who have not picked up your graduation announcements please come to the student store & pick them up ASAP during snack or lunch.
SPORTS
• In an exciting game, the Costa hockey team beat Palos Verdes HS by a score of 3-2 on Friday night. Goal scorers were Cole Peterson, Ryan Miller, and Khalil East. Come out to see the team take on Beverly Hills at 12:45 pm on Sunday, May 11th at the Toyota Sports Center.
