• TODAY will be block schedule to accommodate state testing for the juniors. All students will be on the block schedule these four days, including seniors. (4/23 & 30) you’ll attend periods 2, 4 & 6 (zero period meets all days). See website for bell schedules.
• AP Students: The last AP Exam pre-identification session is Wednesday, April 23, 3:30 p.m. in the Library.
The meeting will last approximately 40 minutes. Students need to be on time and bring a #2 pencil and something (a clipboard, book, etc.) on which to write. This is your last opportunity.
• Costa Rica 2015 meeting on Friday at lunch in Rm 72. Students interested or already enrolled are to attend. !Pura Vida!
• Which Costa teacher do you want to see shave their head? This week Mr. Debevec, Kurz, and Kelley are participating in a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. There will be collection bags in the Math and Science classroom’s this week with each of the three teacher’s names on them. The teacher who has raised the most money by next Friday will have to shave their head! Vote for these teachers and join the fight against cancer!
• Tickets for Peter Pan are on sale at lunch in front of the auditorium TODAY through Friday, April 25th. Pre-sale prices are $10 for students and senior and $15 for Adults. $12 and $18 at the door.
• Mandatory Meeting Spain Trip 2015 at lunch this Wednesday in Rm 70!
• There will be a college mini-fair on Thursday, April 24th during lunch outside the CCC and Auditorium. Stop by to learn about great college opportunities!
• SAT Savvy – last SAT prep class of the school year. Sign up for this intensive prep program & improve your SAT scores. 18 hours of instruction, 4 practice tests, & taught by actual teachers. For more info go to Rm 18, 331, or the CCC. Or www.satsavvy.info
• Do you need to improve in reading & writing this summer? Sign up for the intensive Summer Reading: A study of the selected literature class for Summer School. The class is Tuesdays & Thursdays at 8am to 10:30am. Tone your skills!
• Come to the Art Gallery (Rm 60) at lunch on Friday to experience the EXPERIENCE.
• Applications are now being accepted for next year’s Mustang Morning News Staff. Go to mustangmorningnews.com for application info or see Mr. Hernandez in Rm 108. Deadline is this Friday!
• It’s time to judge the Student Planner Cover Contest! Entries are currently displayed in the cafeteria. Please come by and pick your 3 favorites! Students can vote during Lunch on Thursday and Friday.
