• Cheerleading tryouts are just around the corner. If you are interested in trying out for the 2014 -15 Cheer Team, pick up an application packet in the front office. No experience is required.
• The 27th annual Richstone Pier-to-Pier Walkathon is Saturday, April 26, 2014 at The Manhattan Beach Pier. We are Team MCHS & you can register at www.RichstoneFamily.org. All proceeds benefit the center’s child abuse & treatment prevention programs.
• The Surfer Taco Truck will be serving up gourmet tacos at the boys’ lacrosse game this Friday starting at 4pm. Come support the tie guys as they take on rival Redondo High. JV@5pm, Varsity @ 7pm. Beat Redondo!! #costalacrossetieguys.

CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS
• Come to The Creative Writing Club TODAY at lunch in Mrs. Vaughan’s 18. We have special guests; the senior poetry circle is coming to participate. Yay!
SENIORS
• Any seniors planning on signing or have already signed with a university for your sport; please see Mr. Mancilla today so you will be included in our final National Letter of Intent ceremony on April 16th.
• Seniors: Those of you that did not pick up graduation announcements yesterday will be able to pick them up upon returning from spring break. The announcements will be distributed in the student store at snack and lunch only.
SPORTS
• The Mira Costa hockey team came up short in a 5-4 loss to West LA last week. Goal scorers include Khalil East with 2 goals while Kai Borich and Wyatt Light each had a goal. Come out to see the action this Friday at 6:20 pm at the Toyota Sports Center.
