STUDENT INFO
• All students interested in going on the 12th annual Marine Science Tall Ship Expedition there is a mandatory meeting Friday@ lunch in 342.
• Students who have an “Excused 1st, 5th or 6th period” or surf team on their schedule need to come to the Guidance Office to get a “2nd semester green Off-Grounds sticker” placed on their student ID card. Off-Grounds stickers will be issued before school, at snack, at lunch, or after school only. Please do not come during class time. If you are stopped by the police off campus without the Off-Grounds sticker on your ID card, you may be subject to a truancy citation.
• AP Students: did you miss registering for the AP exams? There will be late registration TODAY at lunch only at the student store. An additional fee of $15 for each exam will be charged.
• The Neptunian Woman’s Club is holding its 36th Student Art & Photography Contest in March. Deadline for submission is Monday, February 24, 2014. Entry forms with contest rules can be obtained from your art/media/photo teacher, Mr. McAvin, or in the admin building – guidance office.
• Mira Costa hockey; anyone interested in playing hockey for Costa must attend a meeting at lunch in Rm. 339 TODAY.
• Winter Formal directions are in Mrs. Claypoole’s Rm. 41.
• Attention students! We have 34 more tickets available for Winter Formal. Come to Mrs. Claypoole’s Rm. 41 at lunch to buy your ticket!
• Come to Fresh Brothers Pizza TODAY to support the Friendship Circle. Print out a voucher from Lia Sepanek’s Facebook page and bring it with you! The Friendship Circle thanks you!
• Any student who would like to try out for the baseball team the final tryout is going to be Saturday February 8th at 2pm at the varsity field. If additional time is needed for evaluation we will add on days next week. Any students who are currently in a winter sport and cannot make the date please contact Coach Olson.
• Attention Italy 2014 Travelers! Meeting this Friday, 2/7 at lunch in Ms. Choi’s Rm. 223.



CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS
• You may like wearing your makeup but, the bunny it was tested on probably didn’t. Come to Living Green Club in Rm. 350 to learn what products are not tested on animals.
• Come to Friendship Circle every Tuesday and Thursday at Lunch in Rm. 114. Be a friend and make a friend!
