• Cheer on our Poetry Out Loud Champion, Miriam Sachs as she goes on to represent Mira Costa at the county-level competition this Wednesday evening! Go Miriam!
• AP Students: did you miss registering for the AP exams? There will be late registration TODAY at lunch only at the student store. An additional fee of $15 for each exam will be charged.
• The Neptunian Woman’s Club is holding its 36th Student Art & Photography Contest in March. Deadline for submission is Monday, February 24, 2014. Entry forms with contest rules can be obtained from your art/media/photo teacher, Mr. McAvin, or in the admin building – guidance office.
• Mira Costa hockey; anyone interested in playing hockey for Costa must attend a meeting at lunch in Rm. 339 on Thursday, Feb. 6th.
• Any student who would like to try out for the baseball team the final tryout is going to be Saturday February 8th at 2pm at the varsity field. If additional time is needed for evaluation we will add on days next week. Any students who are currently in a winter sport and cannot make the date please contact Coach Olson.
• Come to Fresh Brothers Pizza on Thursday February 6th to learn to support the Friendship Circle. Print out a voucher from Lia Sepanek’s Facebook page and bring it with you! The Friendship Circle thanks you!
