• Minimum Day schedule; Tuesday 1/22/14 thru Friday 1/24/14/
• Attention; Detention both before and after school has been moved to Rm. 74. Please report to Rm. 74 to serve your detention.
• The Manhattan Beach Parks & Rec Teen Center snowboarding trips are a great way to celebrate the end of finals! Transportation to & from Big Bear with your friends! More info available at Teen Center or City Hall.
• Students in one-semester classes: Please return all your Fall semester class textbooks to the library as soon as you complete your finals this week. Any semester books returned after Tuesday, January 28 will be charged a $5 late fee. You can also check out Spring Semester textbooks as soon as you return your Fall books. Be sure to have your ID with you to check out books
CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS
SENIORS
• Please submit your Mid Year College Report form/request to your Guidance Counselor no later than January 24th. Check with all of your private school colleges to see if they are requiring a mid year report and/or 1st semester senior grades.
SPORTS
• Girls Lacrosse tryouts are on 1/24 at 12:30 – 1:30pm and 1/25 at 2 – 4pm at the stadium. No experience necessary. All participants must have lacrosse goggles and a mouth guard. Please also bring cleats, running shoes and lacrosse stick. Any returners with extras please bring.
• Please dismiss Boys JV and FS soccer players at 1:30 for games at Leuzinger.
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
FACULTY
• Attention; Detention both before and after school has been moved to Rm. 74. Please report to Rm. 74 to serve your detention.
• Please report any Senior semester fails to their counselor. We want to make sure all our seniors graduate. Thank you!
• Please advise all students taking one-semester classes that their textbooks are due by Monday, January 27 and that they are encouraged to return them next week as soon as they finish their finals. Books returned after Tuesday, January 28 will be assessed a $5 late fee. This is to encourage prompt returns. Students were warned about late fees when they checked books out at the beginning of the semester. Please contact Jane Lofton if you want to bring classes to return books.
