• Proposals are currently being accepted for “Midway Day”, which used to be known as “May Day”. Proposals are due to Ms. Hofreiter on or before January 10th, 2014.
• Our first home rugby game is TONIGHT at 7. Come to Waller Stadium to support our Rugby Team.
• Come to Dodgeball Finals on Monday at lunch in the gym!
CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS
• Get some solid bragging rights by becoming a published author/artist! Submit your work to [email protected]
• Come to the Creative Writing Club TODAY at lunch outside of Mrs. Vaughn’s room, Rm. 18.
• Donate any well-worn shoes to Nike Reuse-a-Shoe Drive to be made into tracks, turfs, and courts. Donation box found in Mr. Calderon’s Rm. 326. Drive ends December 20.
• If you have a passion toward art and drawing, come to Manga Drawing Club TODAY, meet outside Rm. 20. See you there!
• Want to be on top of all the hottest new fashion trends? If so, come to The Fashion Club TODAY at lunch outside the library. There will be cookies! See you there!

• 2nd deadline for 10% off your Senior Ad is due on TODAY. Drop it off in the main office, yearbook room or Ms. Park’s mailbox.

COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
• Scholarship Notebooks; Scholarship Notebooks are a personal profile seniors put together if they would like to be considered for numerous scholarships offered by local (in most cases) charitable organizations. Not all students who complete a scholarship notebook will receive a scholarship. Each scholarship donor creates its own criteria for selection and carefully screens the applicants to find the appropriate candidates for their scholarships. The scholarship donors are looking for students who may meet any of the following criteria:
• Have financial need
• Plan to attend a two or four-year school. Have completed numerous volunteer hours. Plan to study a particular major (i.e. art, dance, business, engineering). Deserve a merit award for excellent grades. Have a talent the committee wishes to honor. Meet any number of additional criteria!
• Students who would like to complete a scholarship notebook MUST attend one of three meetings held at lunch in the CCC. January 7, 10 or15. All scholarship notebooks are due by the end of lunch on February 27. For more information about scholarship notebooks, stop by the CCC.
FACULTY
• Please excuse Boys Varsity soccer players at 1:15 for a game in Huntington Beach.
