• Spain/Portugal 2014 – Mandatory lunch meeting Friday in Rm. 37!
• Attn: all Club Leaders: Club Council meeting next Tuesday, 12/12 in Rm. 123. See you there!
• Mira Costa Advanced Dance class presents Sleigh bells on Thursday, December 5. Blowout tickets will be for $5 Mon-Wed., $7 on Thursday and $9 at the door.
• It’s that time again! SAT Savvy Intensive Prep program begins February 1st. Register by January 24th to get the discount.
• Attention Students!! Dodge ball Tournament starts Monday, December 9th at the tennis courts. See you there!!
• The Mira Costa Library welcomes D.J. MacHale today. He will be presenting in the library during periods 3,4, and 5. Students with unassigned periods and those with permission from their teachers are welcome to attend. Also consider purchasing one or more of his books for signing. You can buy books during the day and get them signed during Period 6.
• Please note that the library will be open only for those attending these events from Periods 3 – 6 TODAY for all other library business, please come another time.
• The library is also launching a signing campaign in support of the American Library Association’s “Libraries Change Lives; Declaration for the Right to Libraries” initiative. Please come by the library to get information and to participate by signing the petition to support library programs for everyone.
• Mandatory Galapagos Islands Spring Break 2014 meeting, Friday 12/6 at lunch in Mr. Chow’s room. If you’re going you must be there with passport info. If you’re interested pots are still available.
• If you’ve got what it takes to wow a crowd, then consider competing in Poetry Out Loud. Come to Rm. 34 for an application today and turn it in by the 20th – don’t delay!

• Come to Sign Language Club TODAY in Rm. 112. New members are welcome! No prior knowledge of sign language is required!
• Want to catch the eye of that special someone? Come to Rm. 38 every Monday to get a hot bod the healthy way.
• Come to Friendship Circle Tuesdays and Thursdays in Rm. 114!
• Due to continued negotiations, the NHS meeting scheduled for this Friday, Dec. 6th has been cancelled.
• Come to Creative Writing Club every Friday at lunch outside of Mrs. Vaughan’s room, Rm.18.
• We’re back! Come to Key Club this Thursday at lunch at the physics drop pad outside the Math/Science Building by the band hall.
• Come to Living Green Club on Thursday at lunch outside of Rm. 350 to talk about fundraising to make a composting box for Costa.
