• If you are interested in traveling to Italy and Greece, Spring Break 2015 with Ms. Owen, come to an informational meeting @ lunch on Wednesday Dec. 4th or Mon. Dec. 9th in Rm. 15.
• Boys Tennis: Tryouts for freshmen and other new players will be held on TODAY, and Wednesday December 4th, at 3pm on the Costa courts. Players must attend both days.
• Attn: all club leaders: Club Council meeting next Tuesday, 12/12 in Rm. 123. See you there!
• Mira Costa Advanced Dance class presents Sleigh bells on Thursday, December 5. Blowout tickets will be for $5 Mon-Wed., $7 on Thursday and $9 at the door.
• It’s that time again! SAT Savvy Intensive Prep program begins February 1st. Register by January 24th to get the discount.
• It’s not too late to sign up to attend one of author D.J. MacHale’s presentations in the library this Wednesday. See Mrs. Lofton to get a permission slip and get it signed by your Period 3, 4, or 5 teacher. Also, consider purchasing one or more of his books for signing. You can buy books during the day on Wednesday and get them signed during Period 6.
• Please note that the library will be open only for those attending these events from Periods 3-6 on Wednesday. For all other library business, please plan to come another time.
• On Wednesday, the library is also launching a signing campaign in support of the American Library Association’s “Libraries Change Lives: Declaration for the Right to Libraries” initiative. Please come by the library to get information and to participate by signing the petition to support library programs for everyone.
• ATTENTION TEACHERS! TODAY is your last day to turn in your Operation Happiness forms! Please send them to Mrs. Claypoole’s Rm. 123 by the end of 2nd period if you haven’t done so already!
CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS
• Come to Sign Language Club every Wednesday in Rm. 112. New members are welcome! No prior knowledge of sign language is required!
• Want to catch the eye of that special someone? Come to Rm. 38 every Monday to get a hot bod the healthy way.
• Come to Friendship Circle TODAY and Thursdays in Rm. 114!
