• Come to The Comedy Sportz Teacher Match TONIGHT at 7pm in the auditorium. Tickets $5 at the door.
• Congratulations to Yuka Noda, winner of the Manhattan Beach Public Library Bookmark Contest, and Joanne Qi, 2nd prize, and Michelle Lu, 3rd prize, winners. Come by the library to get a cool bookmark designed by these winners and other contest participants. And, it’s not too late to see the Dia de los Muertos exhibit displaying work by Spanish class students.
• The Frosh Football Awards Banquet is Wednesday December 4 in the cafeteria. Get your money and reservations in to Heidi McCree or Coach Currier by TODAY.
• Dodgeball signups through Friday at lunch in the new quad. It is $10 per team with 6 people on a team and one alternate.
• There will be a rooter bus for this Friday’s CIF football game vs. Saugus. $10 will get you a ticket for the game and a ride on the bus. 45 passenger minimum for the bus to happen so tell your friends and let’s root our Mustangs to another victory.
• JAPAN 2014 meeting at lunch in Rm. 301 (portables) TODAY. Arigato!
• Mark your Calendar: Last free Yoga Class for Costa students @ LYFE Yoga is Thurs., Dec. 12th, 3:15-4:15. Come relax & restore before the holidays!
• Vocal Ensemble has made the final round in KUSC’s Local Vocals contest. One of three high choirs now competing to perform on NPR’s show “From the Top”. It is now a popular vote, go to www.kusc.org/localvocals/ to vote. Let’s work together to help Vocal Ensemble win!
• The library is hosting author D.J. MacHale on Wednesday, December 4. Students: Come by the library to sign up to attend one of his sessions during Period 3,4 or 5. You need to get a permission form and have your teacher sign it. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear an inspiring author speak. Also consider purchasing one of his books for signing.
• If you are interested in traveling to Italy and Greece, Spring Break 2015 with Ms. Owen, come to an informational meeting on Wed. Dec. 4th or Mon. Dec. 9th @ lunch in Rm. 15.

• Meet outside of Rm. MG16 TODAY after school to play some jazz and learn about improvisation. All levels of experience are welcome!

• Bunnies don’t like wearing mascara, so don’t make them. Learn what products are animal testing free at Living Green Club TODAY in Rm. 350 at lunch.
• Come to Childlife Foundation Club to learn how you can help children libing in a third-world country. We meet outside Rm. 15 at lunch.
• Donate any well-worn athletic shoes or sneakers t5o the Nike Reuse-a-shoe drive. Donation box can be found in Mr. Calderon’s Rm. 346.

• Do you like volunteering? Do you want to cure cancer and make care packages for cancer patients in local hospitals? If so come to Pink Ribbon Club outside on Friday, 11/22!
