STUDENT INFO
• The Fall Blood Drive is on Tuesday, November 5th! Sign up with an ASB member or come to Mrs. Claypoole’s room, Rm. 123 to sign up!
• Sign up for COSTA RICA 2015 before the price increases at the end of the month. See Sra. Geczi in Rm. 301 (portables) for details. Pura Vida!
• Salem Witch Trials come to Mira Costa! Pre-Sale Tickets for The Crucible on sale at lunch in the new quad TODAY through Friday, November 1st. Pre-Sale prices; $10.00 for students and seniors. $12.00 adults. After November 1st; $12 & $15 at the door.
• Detention may be served in Rm. 24 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:15 – 4:15pm. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 – 7:55 am.
• Come to the Sigma Alpha Costa dance November 8th! Wear your Frat gear and come have a good time right after the football game!
• Halloween costume contest on Thursday October 31st! Enter the competition at Nutrition and prizes will be awarded at lunch! All judging will happen in the new quad.
CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS
• Looking for a fun way to earn community service hours? Come to New Challenges Club TODAY in Rm. 201 and take underprivileged kids kayaking, sailing and more!
• Come to Sign Language Club every Wednesday in Rm. 112. New members are welcome! No prior knowledge of sign language is required!
• Emusoi (Emma Soy) club meets TODAY outside Rm. 22. We support women’s education!
• Come to Ecology Club TODAY in Rm. 352 at lunch. New members are welcome. Help save the whales!
• Come to Young Philosopher’s Society TODAY at lunch in Rm. 33, the doors won’t be “Locke”.
• Come to Study Hut Foundation on Wednesdays! We have pizza! Currently meeting at bleachers.
• Come to Habitat for Humanity on Tuesdays! Learn more and support the foundation to fund raise for underprivileged families to buy built homes! Usually in Mrs. Brown’s room, now at football bleachers.

SENIORS
• November 1st is the deadline to submit Secondary School Reports and requests for letters of recommendations to your Guidance Counselor for Regular Decision Application with deadlines of
Dec. 1 – 31.
SPORTS
• Tryouts for all new Boys Golf are Tuesday, October 29th at 3:30 at Chester Washington golf course. Please speak to Mr. Mancilla in the main office if you haven’t already done so regarding tryouts.
