• Help Prevent Crime – Lock your lockers and secure your valuable items. Do not leave backpacks or valuable items unattended.
• Parent Info Night for Spain Trip 2015 in Rm. 37 at 6:30pm TONIGHT! If you are interested in the trip, please send your parents’ to the meeting.
• Mira Costa Dance Team presents its annual Lip Sync contest! Calling all groups, teams and clubs – Show us your best lip sync skills for a chance to win prize money! Sign up at lunch on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday in the New Quad.
• UPDATE: Donation boxes for Project Eliminate are in every classroom and we’re upping the ante! Whichever teacher turns in the most donation money will receive a pizza party for their homeroom! Keep donating.
• We can’t let Redondo and PV beat us! Join Team Mira Costa and register for the Skechers Friendship Walk. Visit www.skechersfriendshipwalk.com by October 27st to sign up! Let’s get the most walkers!
• B.K.S. Iyengar, the creator of Iyengar yoga, is 94 years old and still a yoga rock star. If you would like to learn about this form of yoga, come check out the free Iyengar Yoga classes for Mira Costa students that Ms. Sieker is teaching at LYFE Yoga in Hermosa Beach every other Thursday from 3:15 – 4:15 pm. Our next class is Thursday, October 24th!
