• Help Prevent Crime – Lock your lockers and secure your valuable items. Do not leave backpacks or valuable items unattended.
• Parent Info Night for Spain Trip 2015 in Rm. 37 at 6:30pm on Tuesday night! If you are interested in the trip, please send your parents’ to the meeting.
• Mira Costa Dance Team presents its annual Lip Sync contest! Calling all groups, teams and clubs – Show us your best lip sync skills for a chance to win prize money! Sign up at lunch on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday in the New Quad.
• UPDATE: Donation boxes for Project Eliminate are in every classroom and we’re upping the ante! Whichever teacher turns in the most donation money will receive a pizza party for their homeroom! Keep donating.
• We can’t let Redondo and PV beat us! Join Team Mira Costa and register for the Skechers Friendship Walk. Visit www.skechersfriendshipwalk.com by October 21st to sign up! Let’s get the most walkers!
• B.K.S. Iyengar, the creator of Iyengar yoga, is 94 years old and still a yoga rock star. If you would like to learn about this form of yoga, come check out the free Iyengar Yoga classes for Mira Costa students that Ms. Sieker is teaching at LYFE Yoga in Hermosa Beach every other Thursday from 3:15 – 4:15 pm. Our next class is Thursday, October 24th!

• Come join us in Emusoi (Emma Soy) club TODAY in Rm. 22. We support women’s education.
• Do you a passion for Science? Come to Rm. 350 at lunch on Wednesdays and join Science Olympiad!!
• Come to Reflections TODAY at lunch in Rm. 34 to help us choose which submissions will go in this year’s edition of Reflections Magazine.
• Come to Ecology Club TODAY in Rm. 352 at lunch. New members are welcome. Help save the whales!

• Do you want to be prepared for natural disasters while helping millions of people in need? Come join the American Red Cross Club in Rm. 352B in Mr. Spo’s room Tuesday at lunch to become a part of the international cause.
• Come to Sign Language Club every Wednesday in Rm. 112. New members are welcome! No prior knowledge of sign language is required!
