• Reminder: There will be NO CLASSES on Monday, October 7th (Staff Development Day).
• Attention: Sophomore, Juniors and Seniors with awesome grades last June! Have you been to lab Rm. 243 in the new Science/Math building to check eligibility list for CSF? If not, then you should be aware that TODAY is the deadline for turning in your application for California Scholarship Federation.
• The last day to Drop a Class or Level Change is Next Friday, October 11th. Please contact your Counselor prior to October 11 if you need to change your schedule.
• Homecoming spirit week is here! TODAY is green/gold day. Tuesday, Oct. 8, is U.S.A. day. Wednesday, Oct. 9, is college/pro sports day. Thursday, Oct. 10, is Hawaiian day and Friday, Oct. 11, is stampede Friday!!
• Tickets for the homecoming dance are now sale. Forms are available in the packets of the signs hanging around campus. Get your tickets at the cheap rate! Prices will increase next week.
• The library is continuing our Banned Books Week and contest through the end of this week, so it’s not too late to enter. Please come by the library to see the display and fill out a contest form.
CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS
• Do you want to become a published author, photographer, poet or artist? Submit creative writing and art to [email protected] so we can publish it in Reflections Magazine!
• Come to the Creative Writing Club TODAY at lunch in Rm. 8, Mrs. Vaughan’s room.
• Come to the first information meeting TODAY, in Rm. 2 to learn more about Tri-M Honors Music Society.
• Mandatory Cusco meeting Tuesday Oct., 8th in Rm. 36 during lunch. We will discuss our very important parent meeting. Bring a friend!
• Interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math? Come to Rm. 343 to join GALS Club and learn more about careers in STEM and encourage elementary school girls to pursue them!
• If you like driving, looking at or just talking about cars; come to Car Club TODAY in Rm 139 where all care lovers are welcome.
• Want to join the fight against cancer? Come to Rm. 134 (Mr. Debevec’s room) on Tuesdays to join Relay for Life!
• Expressive Portrayal of Insightful Creativity (EPIC) Club meets Mondays in Rm. 331. Anyone interested or involved in literary, performing or visual arts are welcome.
