• Come spend a week in the Galapagos with Mr. Chow & your fellow students. 2013-2014 Galapagos Island Spring Break Informational Meeting Friday, Sept. 13th at lunch in Rm. 3
• Starting TODAY, Sept. 11th, any students who have an “excused 1st, 5th or 6th period” or surf team on their schedule need to come to the Guidance Office to get an “Off-Grounds sticker” placed on their student ID card. Off-Grounds will be issued before school, at snack, at lunch, or after school only. Please do not come during class time. If you are stopped by the police without the Off-Grounds sticker on your ID card, you may be subject to a truancy citation.
• Reminder students: No lunches, lunch money, homework, etc., will be delivered to you in the classroom, nor will you be notified by the office to pick them up. The attendance office is not responsible for any money or other items left for you.
• “Attention students; Only students who have purchased a 2013 –14 parking permit are allowed to park in the student lot. Do NOT park in any of the numbered spaces – those space are reserved for teachers. Students who park without a valid permit or in a number or lettered teacher parking space will be ticketed.”
• JAPAN 2014 meeting on Thursday at lunch in Rm. 301 (the portables). Domo Arigato!

CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS
• Come to Friendship Circle every Thursday. All new members welcome!
• Come to Food Critics Club’s first meeting of the year for good food and mellow vibes! Ms. Gesualdi’s Rm. 331 TODAY at lunch.
• Community service rocks! Come to Key Club on Thursday in Rm. 232 at lunch. Freshmen welcome!
• Come by Rm. 18 for Cuipo Club TODAY. New members welcome. We save rainforests (fact: Cuipo is a plant species indigenous to S. American countries known for having the softest wood in the world).
• Come share the power of a wish at the Make-A-Wish club every Tuesday in Rm. 21.
• Come check out Kleats for Kids this Friday in Rm. 35! There will be food.
• Science Olympiad meeting at lunch TODAY in Mrs. Bledsoe’s Rm. 350. New members welcome!
• Come to Drama Club today at lunch in Rm. 1.
• First Leo’s Club Meeting! Lunch TODAY in Rm. 131.
• This Friday is the first Cinema Club of the school year! We have fun projects planned, so if you love making movies, come hang out in Rm. 108 this Friday at lunch.
• Attention all NHS members: if you are interested in running for office, come to an informational meeting at lunch on Thurs. Sept. 12th in Rm. 32.
• Come join us this Thursday in Ms. Sieker’s Rm. 34 for the first Girls’ League meeting of the year. New members are welcome!
