STUDENT INFO
• Friday, May 31st is the last day to submit a waiver for 1st semester grades. If you did not meet the prerequisite for a course for next year based on your 1st semester grades, you must submit a waiver by next Friday, May 31st.
• Dodge ball Tournament sign ups in the quad at lunch. $10.00 per team.
• Do you like being in touch with the ‘pulse’ of the Mira Costa students? Do you enjoy helping others who struggle with the many challenges that life presents to all of us? And finally, would you like to develop your leadership skills while providing critical life-improving information to your classmates? If you answered yes to these questions then consider joining the PACE program next year as an elective class. All interested students must fill out an application for next year’s class by Friday, June 7th. Applications are available in the office or can be picked up from room 57.
• Join Mira Costa Choir for their final concert Friday, May 31, at 7:00 pm. The concert is free! Come join us for a great evening of choral music!
CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS
• Japan 2014 meeting at lunch in Room 47 on Friday, 5/31
• Attention NHS members: If you have not participation in one of our chapter service projects, then this Sunday, June 2nd is your last chance. Come by Costa at 10am to help with campus beautification!
• Latino Scholars Union meets on Wednesdays in Room 72. All new members welcome!
• Please join us at Friendship Circle TODAY at lunch in Room 114.
• Come to Ecology Club on Monday, June 3rd in Room 73 for club elections!
• Come to Lend a Hand Club in Room 41 TODAY at lunch! Bring $10 for your T-Shirts!
SENIORS
• Graduation Cap and Gowns will be distributed on Tuesday, June 4th during snack and lunch in the auditorium (4 graduation tickets will be given to students at this time)
SPORTS
• Boys’ Basketball tryouts will be held Monday, June 3 and June 4th from 3:15-5:00 in the main gym. All boys interested in playing next year must tryout.
