• Registration for May Day classes will be from 8:00-8:30 on the Admin Bldg plaza on Tuesday, May 28th. Course list will be available TODAY on the Mira Costa website.
• Do you love the yoga pose “downward facing dog”? Do you love to write? Then consider taking Ms. Seiker’s summertime yoga, meditation, and creative writing workshop so you can do some “down dog” and then write it down, dawg! This workshop will run the week of July 8-12 from 1:15-4:25pm. This class is open to both current Costa students and alumni. No yoga experience is necessary! Online enrollment is available: www.psmanhattan.org. Click on “Camp VIP”. See Ms. Seiker in Room 34 for more details!
• Reminder: there will be no school on Monday, May 27th in observance of Memorial Day.
• Friday, May 31st is the last day to submit a waiver for 1st semester grades. If you did not meet the prerequisite for a course for next year based on your 1st semester grades, you must submit a waiver by next Friday, May 31st.
CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS
• Science Olympiad elections for next year will be held on 5/29/13 in Room 77. Those interested in running for a position, please see Mrs. Bledsoe TODAY, 5/24/13
• Come write with the Creative Writing Club TODAY at lunch in Room 18!
• NHS Applications are due TODAY by 3:00pm to Room 32 or Mrs. Wachell’s mailbox.

SPORTS
• Boys’ Basketball tryouts will be held Monday, June 3 and June 4th from 3:15-5:00 in the main gym. All boys interested in playing next year must tryout.
• Tryouts for the Mira Costa Ice Hockey JV and Varsity teams competing in the Southern California High School League next Fall/Winter will be Wednesday, 29 May at 8:30 pm at Lakewood Ice, Lakewood, CA.
