• Reminder – All students need to have their schedules completed and returned to their counselors. If you are taking coursework over the summer, see your counselor for scheduling adjustments ASAP. Thank you!
• Interested in going to the Galapagos Islands? Come to Room 3 (Mr. Chow’s Room) for an informational meeting TODAY, May 13th, 2013. The deadline has been extended! Spring Break 2014!
• Juniors – Beef up your college resumes while helping others! Be a student tutor! Come see Mrs. Shortt in the Guidance Office.
• There are still a few spots available for the trip to Cusco, Peru during Spring Break 2014 – Don’t miss out on this extraordinary trip, sign up now! Come to Room 36 to sign up, see Sra. Rossell.
• Don’t forget to sign up for the blood drive on June 6th and 7th. Sign-ups go until Monday, May 13th. Sign up with an ASB member or Ms. Claypoole in Room 43.
• Keep the channels between the brain and the fingertips open this summer! Take Creative Writing and let your neurotransmitters happily leap in the direction of the page.
• Mustang Trainers: Please come to Room 120 at lunch TODAY or Tuesday, 5/14 to sign a commitment form for the 2013 Freshman Orientation. Anyone who still wants to join us can come as well and pick up an informational flyer. See Ms. Own in Room 15 or Ms. Park in Room 120.

• Are you getting your washboard abs ready for summer yet? Come to Active and Able to talk about the importance of a healthy lifestyle TODAY in Room 38.
• Do you want 48 hours of community service? Come to Room 45 every Tuesday to join the fight against cancer with Relay for Life!
• NHS would like to thank everyone for your help raising money in our penny wars drive. In total, we raised over $640! The NHS bake sale raised an additional $275, se we will be donating over $900 to Sandy Hook victims. Thanks especially to our top scoring homerooms – first place: Ms. Sieker, second place: Ms. Donovan, and third place: Ms. Martinez-Sellan. These three homerooms will get a donut party courtesy of NHS!
• Come to Cards for a Cause Club Wednesdays in Room 66! Get community service hours by making cards for neglected hospital patients, soldiers, and elders. All new members welcome!
• Come to Together We Tutor every Tuesday in Room 19! You can tutor 5th graders in Hawthorne and get community service hours. All new members welcome!
