STUDENT INFO
• Have you ever wondered why school is set up the way it is and why you learn the subjects you learn? Would you like to try a different way? Would you like to learn or teach interest areas that you have instead of our usual subjects? This year we are trying a new concept in creativity in education. We’re calling it May Day. On May 28th we are giving both teachers and students the chance to teach a lesson or skill to others.
If you would like to participate in May Day as a presenter, all you need to do is download a May Day application from the News section of MCHS website and turn it in to one of VPs by May 8th by 3pm. The topic is up to you and does not have to relate to school. We have already had some submissions from teachers and students on topics such as: How to Use Google Docs, How to Use iPads to Make Great Videos, Dress like a Man (Lessons in Professional Dress), or How to Walk in High Heels and be Prom Ready just to name a few.
So, if you’re interested in sharing an interest that you are passionate about, go to the News section of MCHS website for the application. Turn it in on May 8th and be a part of May Day!
