• 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament sign ups TODAY, 3/15-Tuesday, 3/19 during lunch.
• Mustang Track & Field will honor Coach Fish and record holders at a dedication ceremony of the new Record Wall on March 20th at 3pm, Waller Stadium. All are welcome.
• The library will be closed during school TODAY.
• Reminder: If you are sick, you need to be checked out thru the health office first. If your parents come to pick you up because you are sick, they will be directed to the health office.
• Penny Wars have begun!! While the battle wages, remember to fight fair-no removing of money from your jars which could disqualify your homeroom. If your jars are brimming over, send them to Room 32 or contact Ms. Wachell who can send a student to pick up and empty your jars.
• If you are interested in going to South Africa spring break 2014, please see Ms. Beauchaine in the Guidance Office during snack. It is starting to fill up fast.
CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS
• Do you want to get your prose, poetry, art or photography published? Then submit it to Reflections Magazine by emailing it to [email protected]
• Come buy a delicious smoothie at the Jamba Juice Food Truck afterschool TODAY from 2-4pm at the end of the ramp. Proceeds go to cancer research!
• Put on your Mickey Ears and come to Disney’s Friends for Change Club on Monday in Room 223 at lunch. We’ll have cookies!
• Fandom Club will be meeting TODAY during lunch in Room 61. Come and watch Sherlock!
SENIORS
• Applications for Senior Recognition/Graduation Performance are now available with Ms. Owen in Room 15 and/or in the Guidance Office.
• Attn: Seniors. El Camino is offering three scholarships for Mira Costa students with a 3.0 GPA. Applications are available in the CCC and are due MONDAY, March 18th.
SPORTS
• Congratulations to the boys JV and Varsity lacrosse teams on their outstanding wins against Peninsula last week. Come out and support your Mustangs as they take on Beverly Hills TODAY at Waller Stadium. JV starts at 5, Varsity starts at 7.
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
• PJ Test Prep is offering a free practice ACT or SAT test this weekend. More info in the CCC.
• A rep from the U.S Naval Academy will be in the CCC during lunch on Wednesday, 3/20
