• Come see some of your favorite teachers and staff members battle for greatness during the “Dancing with the Teachers” competition this Wednesday, February 13th, 7 pm in the MCHS Auditorium. Admittance is $4.00 with ASB sticker and $5.00 without.
• Reminder: Wednesday, February 13th is a 9am late start schedule, Zero period does meet.
• The Mira Costa Muscle will be selling singing Valgrams TODAY. Talk to Maurice Welch if you are interested!
• Buy singing Valgrams from Coterie during lunch! Only three dollars!
• Cakes, cookies and hearts, oh my! Wanna get a few baked goods for your valentine? Come to the front of the gym after school on Thursday to buy your valentine something special and support the organization, Operation Smile.
• Students interested in AP Classes next year: AP information presentation for AP JAVA, TODAY, Feb 12th at lunch in Room 12. AP English at lunch in the auditorium on Wednesday, 2/13. AP European History at lunch on Thursday, Feb. 14th in Room 205, AP US History in Room 200 & 207 on Thursday at lunch, and AP Econ/Gov. in Room 224 on Thursday at lunch.
• Join the Drama Department TODAY, 2/12 at 7pm in Room 1 for the annual Equity Fights AIDS Benefit. There will be a multitude of great talent and its only $5!
• Do you need community service hours? Grand View needs a lot of teens to help with the GV Science Expo Wed, March 13th. Shifts start as early as 2:15pm and end as late as 7:30pm. • Anyone interested in playing ice hockey for Mira Costa should attend a mandatory meeting in Room 44 at lunch on Wednesday, Feb. 13th.
• Mandatory England, Ireland, Scotland trip meeting on Thursday, 2/14. Newcomers welcome!
• Students interested in AP Studio Art – there is an informational meeting Friday at lunch in Room 102.
CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS
• Come to Cuipo Club this Wednesday. We will have a speaker discussing the rainforest, deforestation, preservation, natural resources and reshaping attitudes about the environment. Let’s create a sustainable future!
• The Library Club meets in the library workroom during lunch TODAY.
• Come by Room 75 to listen to UCLA Women Representatives to learn about nursing a STEM career as a woman TODAY from 4-5, sponsored by GALS Club.
• Come make a difference at Friendship Circle Club TODAY in Room 114.
• Come to Room 5 tomorrow for Quidditch Club!
• Interested in charity organizations? TODAY in Room 200, a guest speaker from The World of Children, which helps fund teenagers run charities, will be visiting the Jewish Culture Club.

SENIORS
• Please review the Senior 2nd Semester Calendar for important dates to remember. The calendar can be viewed though the MCHS website.
• Seniors completing a scholarship notebook: Please come to the CCC to pick up your transcripts for your scholarship notebooks. Cost of notebooks is $7 for all three. Notebooks are due in the CCC Thurs. Feb. 28th by end of lunch.
