• Mira Costa Girls Water polo presents……. Friday Night Gourmet Food Truck Fest!!! Come Join Us and support Girls Water polo TONIGHT, December 7th, 5pm-9pm, Administration Building Parking lot- Artesia
Blvd. Everyone’s invited, bring your friends, family and your appetite!!
• REMINDER: A memorial service for Mr. Fish will be held TOMORROW, December 8th at 8:00am in the MCHS Auditorium.
• Boys Volleyball – Freshmen tryouts will be held on Monday, December 10th at 3:00 in the main gym. This will be the final tryout for the year.
• Improve your SAT Scores! Come sign up for the SAT Savvy Intensive Prep sessions! 18 hours of instruction, plus 4 practice tests and it is here at MCHA! Come to Room 18, 50, or the CC for more info: www.satsavvy.info.
• Dodgeball Tournament sign-ups at lunch in front of the student store TODAY. $2 per person, $10 per teams + 1 alternate.
• Dance Team is hosting a fundraiser at the Hermosa Beach Pinkberry TODAY! Pick up a flyer in the main hall and bring it with you to donate 20% of your purchase.
• Mira Costa Drama presents the Second Annual Winter Benefit Show, Tuesday, December 11th in Room 1 at 7:00 pm. $5 at the door and all proceeds go to Operation Happiness!


CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS
• The Library Club will be participating, along with several other school library clubs around the country, in a virtual meeting to discuss Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky on Wednesday at 3 PM in the library workroom. Anyone who has read the book is welcome to join us for what we are sure will be a lively discussion.

• Attention to all performers: Consider being in the annual Lend a Hand Benefit Party! Showcase your talent, singing, doing magic, telling jokes, etc., and help us raise money for the homeless! Email [email protected] for more information.
• Come to Flash Mobs for Philanthropy Club in Room 37 TODAY at lunch. You know you want to!
• Attention NHS Members: We have a mandatory meeting TODAY at lunch in the auditorium!
• Fandom Club will be meeting TODAY during lunch. Make sure to be there 5 minutes after the bell!
• Come get knighted by the King of Chess Club TODAY in Room 23 at lunch.
• Come to Room 125 to join the Sign Language Club TODAY and Wednesdays in Room 102. New members are always welcome!
• Come to Kleats for Kids Club TODAY and on Fridays in Room 46 to help donate used sports equipment to less fortunate children.
• If you want to help charity while enjoying cupcakes, then come on down to Cupcakes for a Cause TODAY in Room 15!
• Put on your Mickey ears and come to Disney’s Friends for Change Club on Monday at lunch in Room 223!

COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
• College Financial Aid Information Night Monday, December 10th @ 7:00pm in the auditorium. We have a new presenter this year and recommend that families of all grade levels 9-12 attend this event to find ways to help afford college.

• Attn: Sophomores – Please come to the CCC during snack and lunch on Tuesday, December 11th to pick up your PLAN results.
