• Club day is Wednesday at lunch in the new quad. Bring extra money.
• Jamba Juice is coming tomorrow after school outside the gym. Support the Mira Costa Orchestras and bring your $4 to enjoy a delicious and refreshing smoothie!
CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS
• The CSF membership drive is being extended to next Friday, October 12th. CSF is a state-wide academic honors organization whose purpose is to recognize students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement. Colleges and universities tend to look favorably on potential CSF life members when reviewing applications. Check the eligibility list on the door of Room 76 and pick up an application.

• Come share the power of a wish at the Make-A-Wish Club on Tuesdays in Room 21.
• Come to Ping Pong for Hope Club in the small gym at lunch TODAY! New members are welcome!

SENIORS
• The deadline to take your senior portrait is November 2nd. If you have not taken your portrait, you can contact Ralf’s Photography.com to set up an appointment. You will NOT be in the yearbook if your picture isn’t taken before then.
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
• October 9th: College Fair at Redondo Union HS. Seniors admitted at 7 pm with ID, all others at 7:30.
• October 10th: Cal State University Workshop at lunch in the CCC.
• October 11th: Paul Kanarek Presentation at 7 pm in the auditorium – expert on college admissions and testing.
• October 13th: PLAN test at 8:00 am. Classroom assignments will be posted outside the main office and the library on Wednesday. Be sure to bring a photo ID, #2 pencils and a calculator. Please report to class at 7:45.
