• Stressed about college preparation! Take an intellectual break on Saturday, October 13th to attend the TEDxManhattanBeach 2nd Annual Conference: “Journey To Purpose: Dream.Educate.Thrive.” Come hear how many successful innovators and thinkers have discovered their careers and purpose. Inspiration comes in many different forms – sometimes you discover it early, and other times the journey takes longer. In today’s global landscape, the journey can change direction, or become a meandering path. One thing is for certain, thought – there has never been a more fascinating time to explore your purpose.
Visit TEDxManhattanBeach.com for speaker and breakouts details and to purchase tickets. Tickets - $115. Information and links are on the Costa website.
• Pad your college application with community service hours by participating in the After-School Peer Tutoring program in the library. If you are a junior or a senior, sign up to work as a tutor in the library after school. You set your own days and hours.
