STUDENT INFO
• Reminder students: No lunches, lunch money, homework, etc., will be delivered to you in the classroom, nor will you be notified by the office to pick them up. The attendance office is not responsible for any money or other items left for you.
• New student ID pictures and Lifetouch makeup pictures can be taken during nutrition and lunch on September 25th in the Auditorium.
• Students needing reprints (adding ASB/Yearbook marker or lost) of ID cards can drop them off in the admin. office with Ms. Gardner starting TODAY, 9/18/12. Reprints will be available for pickup Wednesday, 9/19/12 after school.
• Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors – if you didn’t pick up your stampede shirt and you ordered one, go to Room 43 at lunch next week. Senior shirts will be distributed in class.
• TODAY is Jamba Juice Tuesday, afterschool outside the gym. Enjoy a smoothie for just $4!
• TODAY through Thursday is the LAST opportunity to register for the PLAN or PSAT test! Late Registration is $35 at lunch in the student store.
• MANDATORY meeting Wednesday at lunch in Room 48 for all students going on the Spain Trip this Spring Break!
CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS
• Come to Room 114 Tuesdays and Thursdays at lunch for Friendship Circle Club! Everyone is welcome!
• Do you love reading? Would you like to discuss books with friends, get the first scoop on new books, and support the library program? Come to an organizational meeting for TLC: The Library Club during lunch TODAY in the library work room. Please arrive promptly and bring your lunch. Newcomers are welcomed and we will be serving some snacks and holding elections.
• Please come to Room 50 at lunch TODAY for the first meeting of Expressive Portrayal of Insights Club.
• Come fiesta with us salsa style! Room 48, Thursdays at lunch! No experience required!
• Come to the Jimmy Miller Foundation Club at the pool this Wednesday during lunch! There will be El Gringo tacos!
• Want to help cure cancer? Come to Relay for Life Club TODAY at lunch in Mr. Brissey’s Room 45. Pizza will be provided and everyone is welcomed!
• Habitat for Humanity is meeting TODAY in Room 20. New members are welcome!
• Need hours for Health? Come to Red Cross Club on Wednesday at lunch in Room 43!

COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
• College Knowledge Night is TODAY, September 18, from 7 – 9 pm in the auditorium. Come hear from representatives from UCLA, Cal State Dominguez Hills, USC and The Princeton Review. The college reps will discuss application requirements for UCs, CSUs, and private colleges, and offer tips on how to become a strong applicant. The Princeton Review rep will discuss the differences between the SAT and ACT, testing requirements, and testing schedules.
