STUDENT INFO
• Any students who have an “excused 1st, 5th or 6th period” or surf team on their schedule need to come to the Guidance Office to get an “Off-Grounds sticker” placed on their student ID card. Off-Grounds will be issued before school, at snack, at lunch, or after school only. Please do not come during class time. If you are stopped by the police without the Off-Grounds sticker on your ID card, you may be subject to a truancy citation.
• “Attention students: Only students who have purchased a 2012-13 parking permit are allowed to park in the student lot. Do NOT park in any of the numbered spaces—those spaces are reserved for teachers. Students who park without a valid permit or in a numbered teacher parking space will be ticketed.”
• Attention all girls interested in playing basketball. Tryouts will be held: TODAY, 9/7 at MBMS 6:45-8:45. If you have any questions contact Coach Miranda at [email protected]
• Girls Soccer try-outs TODAY, Sept 7th at 3:00 pm. Meet at back fields by Meadows ave.
• Students who still need textbooks: Please come to the library as soon as possible from 7:30- 3:00pm. We will be opening for library business very soon, once textbooks are all distributed.
• Make up pictures are scheduled for September 24th from 8-3 in the auditorium lobby.
• Audition packets for the Fall Production You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown , are due TODAY, September 7th. Auditions are September 10th-12th from 3:00-6pm!
• Boys Golf: Rookie gold tryouts for Boys, see Mr. Fauver in Room 200 or Mr. Timberlake in Room 202 for more information.
• PSAT and PLAN Test Registration will take place the week of September 10-14th in the student store. Cost is $25 per exam. Space is limited, so sign up early to guarantee a spot. The PLAN test will be given on Saturday, October 13th at 8am and is for sophomores ONLY. The PSAT test will be given on Sat., October 20th at 8am. The PSAT is designed for juniors, but sophomores and freshman are allowed to take the exam. It is recommended that you are in Algebra 3-4 or higher.
