• Yearbook distribution schedule, room 8/9: Sophomores TODAY, 6/14 3pm
Freshmen Friday, 6/15 3pm
*Make up distribution for each class at lunch, the day after your scheduled date in rooms 8 & 9. Must bring school ID
• “Reminder to Costa students from MBMS: You are not allowed to visit the MBMS campus during school hours (8:00 am to 3:00 pm)”

• Attention prospective members of Science Olympiad!! There will be a mandatory information meeting and cabinet elections this Friday at lunch in room 77.

• Attention: All athletes who have gym lockers...lockers need to be cleaned out and locks removed by Friday June 15th. All remaining locks will be cut. We are not responsible for left items or locks after this Friday.

• Attention: All students who purchased prom photos can pick them up in Mrs. Claypoole (room 43) TODAY and tomorrow

• Students: If you have anything that was confiscated at Prom, please come pick it up in Mrs. Claypoole’s Room 43.

• Come out TODAY, 6/14 at 7:00 pm in the auditorium to watch the Mira Costa Dance Show “Final Cut”. Tickets are $10.00 at the door. See you there!

• Next Year’s AP Environmental Science Students: Head into Room 65 (Mr. Kurz) to find info about purchasing used APES books from former students.

• Join the cause!! TODAY and the 15th, use a reusable water bottle to bring awareness to the environmental harm caused by recyclable water bottles!

• As the end of the year approaches, be sure to return your textbooks and library books to the library as soon as you are done with them. It is extremely important that we get books back on time so that we can accurately determine whether we have adequate numbers for future students. In order to encourage prompt returns, a $5 per book fine will be assessed for each late textbook returned after June 21, the last day of school.

• Next year’s AP US students: You may get book ordering information on Mr. Fauver’s homework site. You can access the site through the Mira Costa web site and the “Academics” tab. Click on Departments, then Social Studies, then Mr. Fauver and finally “AP US 2012-13”.
• Come down to the tennis courts at lunch TODAY to watch the Dodgeball Tournament!

• All students planning on taking AP European History next year-plan on attending a brief meeting TODAY at lunch in Room 205.

• Come to the Comedy Sportz Alumni Match this Friday the 15th! See your current favorites and old favorites perform!

• TODAY is Dippin Dots Day. Stop by the gym afterschool to enjoy your favorite flavor for just $3.00.

CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS
• Attention All Club Presidents: It’ time to renew your club for the 2012-2013 school year. Please pick up form in Room 43. Forms due back by June 20th.

• Attention NHS Seniors: If you missed the June meeting, but have turned in dues and service logs, come to Room 32 to pick up honors cords.

• CSF Life Members: Congratulations! Please come to room 76 at snack or lunch to pick up your envelope containing your cowl, certificate and CSF Pin. You will need to sign for it.

• Last Baja Club meeting of the year in Room 35 at lunch.

• The first student government meeting for the 2012-2013 school year will be Monday, June 18th at 5:00 pm. All new ASB members are required to attend!

• Friendship Circle at lunch TODAY in Room 114.
